Four, a set on Flickr.

Four years ago, this little man scared the shit out of us. His specialty now is not listening. And defiance. And button pushing.

Oh, and super excellent cuddles, weird questions, funny faces, and love.

Happy birthday to my babywhumpus. This blog would be whumpus without you.

We love you.

My kid is making me wear a button with his face on it. I've been branded. Permanently mom-ed. Now I have no choice whether or not I show pictures of my child because there he is on my hoodie.

They made them at day care for Mothers' Day.

Thank Odin he's cute.

This is for KatieOhKatie

Pictured below is a bin of Malabrigo.

This is the deal...

I spent Mothers' Day like many moms out there: subjugating my true desires to the perceived or stated desires of my family. Sound familiar? Or, just, sounds like Tuesday. Or Thursday. Or any day of the week ending in "day." I also cooked and cleaned.

Brain Crack

From the back seat, on the way to day care:

"Mama, my brain in my ear cracked. When little boys grow up, their brains crack. I'm growing up, so my brain cracks. When people grow up, they get new brains."
